Arsinoe, Quin, Olympia & Erigone
Author: Illyria
Date:   02-04-18 08:42

Arsinoe and Quinctilius Crumm arrived at Hogwarts together for the annual Career Day. Both were representing their respective fields: Arsinoe worked in the apothecary at St. Mungo's Hospital, while her husband was a healer specializing in potion and plant poisoning.

The Jones parents were babysitting their five granddaughters while Arsinoe and Quin participated in Career Day. The eldest granddaughter, Alexandra, would be starting at Hogwarts the year after next, while the youngest, Amalia, was only nine months old.

The Crumms were first met by Rubeus Hagrid just within the Hogwarts grounds. He was stationed there as the first point of security for the guests arriving at Hogwarts. After getting checked off of his list, the pair made the hike up to the castle. It was quite sunny, but it was also very cold.

Once inside the castle, they were met by Argus Filch and his cat Miss Ophelia, who sat at his feet like a sentry and regarded the new arrivals with cool indifference. Filch grunted out a welcome, double checked his list of expected Career Day presenters, and then indicated for Arsinoe and Quin to cross over to the great double doors leading into the Great Hall.

There, Filius Flitwick checked them in and directed them each to a table on which cards bearing their names, occupations, and business names were already arranged. Arsinoe and Quin unpacked the things they brought with them and prepared to meet with students interested in their respective fields.

Olympia Haltwhistle was the next of the Jones siblings to arrive for Career Day. She would be representing the Ministry of Magic's Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes as an oblivator for the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad. Her coworker and partner at today's event, Cameron Weatherby, was already getting their table set up.

Olympia's two sons were at home with their dad, though she suspected the threesome might end up visiting the Jones grandparents at some point during the course of the day. The house was likely to be loud and full of activity, since some of the other grandchildren would already be there.

The only other Jones sibling participating in Career Day as one of the presenters was Erigone Bones. This was her very first time taking part. She had lived in Mumbai for nine years. Now that her family was living in Greenwich and Erigone was once again working for Magical Style Magazine, she could participate in the Hogwarts Career Day. She was there to talk about what it was like editing a fashion magazine.

Her husband, two sons, and two daughters were at home today. They lived next door to Erigone's parents and would no doubt visit with the Crumm girls. Erigone had to admit that it was nice having the entire family close together again!

Family Affair
Author: Lysander Stratford
Date:   02-04-18 14:18

Lysander and Julian were at Career Day once more, promoting bookselling and owning a small business. They had an assortment of things to give away, from the ever-popular leather-bound journals, to quills and woodcut bookmarks.

Lysander was especially excited to be in the Great Hall at Hogwarts because this Career Day was the first with his daughter as a student. Obviously, Charlotte was too young to have any interest in the future, but she knew her father would be there and would definitely visit with him a little bit.

The table next to theirs was supposed to be for Bill and Gringotts Bank, but the Weasel either didn't find a someone to take his place or didn't bother. Everyone in Hogsmeade knew what had happened to Bill, and it was no great surprise that he wasn't at Career Day today. Both Lysander and Julian had joined up with the neighborhood watch recently formed in Hogsmeade, but there'd been no sign of Greyback in the village or anywhere else since Bill's attack.

Briar, whose table was on the other side of the empty one, had gotten express permission from Professor Flitwick to spread out some of the goodies she'd brought with her. It turned out to be a good thing, because it meant that Lysander and Julian only had to reach over to get something sweet.

Lysander thought that Charlotte might tag along with Grace and her friends, but his daughter arrived in the Great Hall with Mira Eternal-Black. Noah trailed behind, but it seemed purely a coincidence that the cousins came in together. Noah caught sight of Seth Weasley and immediately joined him in looking over the things available at the joke shop table.

Charlotte and Mira came over to the Twice Told Tales booth. Charlotte figured it best to get greeting her father out of the way, not that she wasn't happy to see him. She gave him a hug, being still too young to feel embarrassed about showing public affection for a parent. She hugged Julian too and then asked about the younger children. Who was watching them if all the adults were at Hogwarts today?

It turned out that Astrid was with Dylan, August and the twins, Xavier and Jasmine. Charlotte didn't understand how weird it was having her father's ex-girlfriend around, but motherhood seemed to have set Astrid straight, and the roommate situation seemed to be working out at the moment. Charlotte just didn't have her own room anymore, but then it didn't much matter with her being at Hogwarts all the time.

After talking to her father and Julian for a bit, Charlotte and Mira said hello to Briar and grabbed snacks even though they had only just eaten breakfast. Then, they went off to peruse the other tables before venturing elsewhere until lunch.

Hecubia & Mortimus
Author: Harry Potter
Date:   02-04-18 18:23

Hecubia runs a hand down part of her skirt as if to smooth it. Her dress is vintage 1953. She's accessorized with pearls, a small jaunty hat, heels that are surprisingly comfortable, and a 1952 vintage handbag. She's rather pleased with how the look pulled together. As a student comes near the booth she picks up a bowl filled with Muggle candies. "Would you like a sweet? I recommend the Crunchie. The Lion bars are quite nice. If you don't care for chocolate how about some Jelly Babies or Fruit Pastilles?"

"I know what pastilles are but not that brand. Never heard of the others." The student, a boy, peers more closely at the large bowl. "Can't say I know any of them."

"Oh, well, take one of each if you'd like, dear. These are all Muggle products."

He reaches into the bowl then looks up at the name on the booth. "Muggle Relations. Makes sense you'd have Muggle sweets."

"Would you like to taste an American drink that's popular around the world? Coca-Cola. This is the classic version of course."

"Classic version?"

"The company made a massive marketing blunder years ago. Discontinued the original product and introduced something called New Coke. There was such an outcry and sales for the New Coke were horrible so the company brought back the original, calling it Coke Classic. Some of us think it's not actually the original but merely close to it."

By the time the boy leaves for the next booth, Hecubia has given him an earful, though he's found much of it interesting. Interesting enough as he works through a roll of Nestle's Rowntree Fruit Gums he's thinking that even if he never takes Muggle Studies he should definitely check out the next Muggle Studies Club meeting.

Mortimus, just finishing up with another student, smiles over at his companion. This time next year their second oldest will be a student here. They had always thought their oldest would attend Hogwarts but Argyle turned out to be such a musical prodigy he's been attending a school that specializes in music, though Argyle is, of course, learning magic as well.

Alectrona, on the other hand, cannot carry a tune to save her life. Her younger siblings have some musical ability but none like their eldest brother. That's just as well as the school Argyle attends costs a pretty galleon.

Holding out a compartmentalized bowl filled with different types of crisps available in the Muggle World, Mortimus offers a taste to passing students, handing out small bags of the crisps to those who'd like more, while filling them in on the joys of working in Muggle Relations.

Argh!
Author: Gerry
Date:   02-05-18 18:56

Gerry and Will entered the Great Hall after sleeping in for most of the morning. They made a beeline for the refreshments table, where they stuffed food straight into their mouths before getting shooed away for acting uncivilized. With snack items still in their hands, the boys ate as they walked around the Great Hall.

Gerry already knew what he wanted to be when he grew up: an auror, just like his dad. The problem was, his marks were terrible, and he'd be very lucky if he even made it into the auror program. His dad told him so every so often, but Gerry had yet to heed his advice. It might sink in eventually, but hopefully it wouldn't be too late.

Gerry spotted his younger brother talking to their mother, who was at Career Day presenting library services. There were lots of jobs at libraries, from conducting research and circulating material, to mending and conserving items, to providing programs like storytimes and book clubs. Gerry wasn't interested in any of it. What was fun about shelving books? Catching dark wizards sounded way more interesting.

His mother caught sight of him and Will approaching and started to smile at them, but then she noticed the crumbs all over Gerry's face. She reached out to wipe his mouth like a mother would a small child, which earned a severe, "Muuuuu-uuuuuum!" from Gerry as he jerked his head away from her grasp.

Will snickered, and Gareth grinned wide. The younger Martini-Blackwell said, "I'm not sure a girl would be impressed to see a boy with biscuit crumbs all over his face."

Gigi raised a perfectly arched eyebrow. "What girl?"

"Gareth…" Gerry said warningly.

"Oh? He didn't tell you?" Gareth asked, feigning innocence.

"No, he didn't," Gigi answered. She smiled sweetly at her eldest. "What girl, Gerry?"

"There's no girl!" Gerry exclaimed, the same time Gareth said, "Grace!"

"Grace? Oh, Grace Valentine? Really? How nice!" Gigi was positively beaming. "You two used to play together when you were little."

"I know," Gerry muttered, "and we're not––" He formed his hand into a fist, ready to pummel Gareth, but Gareth saw it coming and with a victorious grin, said a hasty goodbye to his mother and sped off to get out of Gerry's reach.

"Valentine's Day is just a month away. I can help you pick something out," Gigi said.

"She's not–– We're not–– Argh!" Gerry finally exclaimed, while his mother rambled on about a corsage or a tin of festively decorated sugar biscuits. He gave Will a withering look and stalked off, hoping his mother wouldn't say anything to Grace or worse, Grace's parents.

Davies & Llewellyn Booth
Author: Georgia Copperpot
Date:   02-05-18 19:47

Connie has two cute gingerbread houses as part of her Davies & Llewellyn Hogwarts Career Day display. One is a pretty little Victorian cottage with lots of, no pun, gingerbread trim. The other is a copy of a gorgeous church, complete with stained glass windows, converted into a home. Back when the church was built the area was entirely Muggle but over the years some of the then village now moderate sized town became Wizarding. The Victorian cottage is similar to several Connie handled over the years as an estate agent but it's not an exact replica of any of them. She made them both with a massive amount of help from both Georgia and Sage.

Also part of the display are photos of houses Davies & Llewellyn have represented, the estate agent smiling broadly and handing over the keys to the new owner or owners. There are also pictures of houses currently on the market. There are a few photos of business properties and lots, several of them extremely scenic, ripe for building a dream home. There are the little booklets of listings, pamphlets, and even a few copies of various newspapers and magazines that run real estate ads.

There is one brochure that makes Connie's eyes roll but it's one that both Davies and Llewellyn not only love but co-wrote. The brochure is titled An Exciting Career In Real Estate Awaits. The content has some good information and gives a point by point list of positives for becoming an estate agent. The eye rolling part comes from how cutesy Davies and Llewellyn tried to make it. The writing is a bit over the top to the point Connie half expects a rainbow cloud of glitter to erupt every time she opens one of the brochures.

She had quills with the Davies & Llewellyn name and logo etched on the side, magnets with the name, logo, and business address, and mugs that are vaguely house shaped. Each mug has a decorative cellophane bag with an assortment of hard candy and jellies. There is a bowl with the same assortment as well as little house shaped chocolate bars with the Davies & Llewellyn logo on both the wrapper and the chocolate itself. On a platter is an assortment of decorated biscuits, some gingerbread, some sugar, some molasses. Lastly, Connie has Davies & Llewellyn totes for interested students load with all the booth offers.

She's bent over getting one of the containers of biscuits fill in the platter where it's starting to look bare when a throat clears. Hastily standing, a smile locked in place she automatically says, "Hello, interested in becoming an estate agent? Oh, Libby, hello. How are you, dear?"

"Hi, Mum." Libby extends a steaming cup. "Thought you might like some fresh tea."

"Yes, thank you. Lovely of you to think of me." Connie's eyes narrow. "Just why have you?"

"Because you're my mum and you're working hard."

Knowing her younger daughter well Connie's eyes narrow even more. "No, really, why are you bringing me tea?"

Libby snorts indignantly. "I can't bring you tea?"

"When have you ever brought me tea just to be bringing me tea? What have you done? Am I to speak with Professor McGonagall or one of your teachers?"

"Noooooo. I've not done anything. I'm just bringing you tea."

"Done exceedingly poorly on an exam? Gotten behind on assignments? Spoken back to a professor?"

"No, Mother. None of those. Nothing."

Connie's eyes are now such small slits it's a wonder she can still see out of them. She shrewdly asks, "What are you wanting, Liberty?"

"Nothing. Okay, maybe not nothing but it's not much."

Connie's eyes widen. "So out with it."

"I miss Angus."

"I know, but he's so old now he's not happy when he's here."

"I was thinking that a kitten might help me not miss him as much. MacFusty's," Libby gestures to another of the Career Day booths, has some kittens for adoption."

Connie looks in the general direction of the MacFusty's booth then locks eyes with Libby. "You're wanting a kitten?"

"Yes, but you have to give permission and there's an adoption fee and I don't have any of Angus's things here so the kitten would need things like food."

Connie sighs. "Yes, all right. I see no harm in you getting a kitten but keep in mind that Angus might not be happy with another cat when you are home."

"I know but I'd talk to him and we'd make it work."

Connie moves to where she's stowed her purse. "Let's go have a look then but we have to make it quick as I don't have anyone to relieve me."

She sticks a Back In A Few Minutes sign to the front of the table then follows Libby to the MacFusty's booth. She's back to the Davies & Llewellyn a few minutes later having paid the necessary adoption fee as well as purchasing a few necessities for whichever kitten Libby decides in the one. Once home this evening Connie will gather a few other items to owl to Libby, such as a cat carrier Angus long outgrew and a few cat toys.

A short time later Libby is back at the Davies & Llewellyn booth, a gorgeous long haired ginger Scottish Fold nestled under her chin. Atypical of Libby she remembers to say, "Thank you, Mum!" without having to be prompted. "I have to think of a good name for him."

Connie reaches out to stroke the soft fur. "He's beautiful."

"There is one other thing, Mum."

Trying not to sound overly wary Connie replies, "Yes?"

From out of nowhere Libby produces what turns out to be a page from a magazine. "Tell my cheeky monkey sister that this is the bridesmaid dress I want. Short sleeves if it's warm, the long sleeves if it's cold."

"It's a pretty dress, Libby, but what if Georgia has something else in mind?"

Rather than respond to that Libby says, "And I want it in red. Crimson to be exact."

"Red, that is crimson, might not be a color Georgia is going with."

Libby shrugs. "Then I'll be the only one in crimson." She snags one of the gingerbread biscuits then turns to skip away, saying over her shoulder, "Thanks again, Mummy. I LOVE him!"

Feeling a headache coming on, Connie taps her wand to reheat the tea Libby brought and wishes she had a career students were swarming to hear about simply to keep her occupied enough to keep from having to think of Libby somehow managing to show up to Georgia's wedding wearing the dress in the photo and in crimson no matter what the wedding colors are or the outfits selected. How could her two daughters be so vastly different in nature despite having been raised the same way?

Sighing softly, Connie takes a sip of the tea then plasters on another smile as a student approaches with questions about buying and selling real estate.

(Alanna) Career Day
Author: Beck
Date:   02-06-18 18:47

Alanna had tried to get out of going to Hogwarts for Career Day, but her bosses had insisted she be the one to promote the business. It was the law firm's first time participating, and that was the excuse Alanna used in her attempt to get out of going. Surely the co-owners would want to have the first go at Career Day, but apparently they didn't think it worth their time.

Alanna's fears of running into a former colleague from the Ministry turned out to have been for nothing. There was no one at Hogwarts from the Ministry's legal division, and one of the two aurors from the Department of Magical Law Enforcement was her brother.

Anthony was happy, because it was his first time participating in Career Day. Unsurprisingly, the auror booth was a popular one. Lots of boys, but also some of the girls, had a lot of questions about what it was like catching dark wizards. Anthony had a lot of stories from old cases he could share, but there was a current case that he had to keep mum on because it was an active investigation that also involved the Headmistress' brother. Anthony was one of several aurors surveilling the supposed dark wizard, though he obviously wasn't doing it today because of Career Day.

Katherine was also at Career Day on behalf of The Daily Prophet. There were other journalists in the Great Hall, and other photographers too, and even another photojournalist, but Katherine wasn't discouraged because Career Day wasn't a competition. Inside her head, she was keeping track of how she was doing compared to the others, though. It turned out to be a fun game.

In a lull between students, Alanna scanned the Great Hall. Besides her siblings, she spotted some of her in-laws, like Bronwyn and Plum. At least none of her own ex-in-laws were there. She didn't want to see them scowling at her, or worse, acting like she didn't even exist.

Just when she was starting to feel more antisocial than she was already feeling, a student came up and asked about the type of law Alanna practiced. She forced all negative thoughts from her mind and tried to answer the girl's question in a friendly and thorough manner.

Career Day
Author: Blossom
Date:   02-06-18 19:09

A girl of about thirteen or fourteen, so Blossom thinks, reads over part of Blossom's display before asking, "Is there really more to a school than the teachers?"

Before Blossom can say a word much less make a sound the girl is shaking her head. "Sorry, sort of a dumb question. Hogwarts has a headmistress who oversees everything. There's Mr. Filch who does, ummmm, something. And there's Hagrid."

"Don't forget there are a good number of House Elves as well."

"Right, yes, though easy to forget as we hardly see any of them. I suppose my question actually is can someone be part of a school without being a teacher or someone like Hagrid or Filch? Professor McGonagall used to teach."

"A person could become an administrator or serve in some other capacity without ever having been a professor."

"Is that what you did?"

"In a way. I did do some teaching when I opened the day care but soon was so busy with overseeing everything that I only stepped in when someone else was out for some reason such as illness."

"You apprenticed for all this or went to St. Emrys or ?"

"I've taken some courses here and there, mainly business and management courses. I have taken some education based ones. If you're interested in becoming an administrator or a professor I do recommend taking a full course or training under someone. My approach isn't necessarily the best."

"But you've done good, I mean well. You've the day care and got the primary school started and the gaming center."

"Luck along with a great deal of determination and hard work. I've done a massive amount of studying on my own, attended conferences, asked too many questions to count of anyone who'd let me pester them."

The student and Blossom talk several more minutes before the student moves on to another booth. With no one else at her booth just then she takes a moment to step to the next to ask Daria how she's doing and whether she needs a break. Daria is thankful for the offer of a break. At 6 1/2 months pregnant she's starting to find out why most pregnant women are often in need of the loo.

While Daria is gone, first to the loo then to get a snack and stop to talk with Kody, Blossom fields questions for both the childcare and primary education booth and the gaming booth, with Fred coming over from the next booth down to help her with the gaming questions, particularly those dealing with the need for inventiveness.

When Daria returns, Blossom takes a break, spending most of the time near the refreshments talking with the triplets, hating to admit to any of the three how much she misses seeing them on a daily basis. It's times like this she wouldn't mind if Hogwarts were a day school!

Plants And Pets
Author: Travis
Date:   02-07-18 18:29

Travis puts out a few more of the small plants she'd brought as gifts for stopping by her booth. There is a variety of starters for anyone interested such as a tiny Aloe vera, Peperomia, and Chinese evergreen (Aglaonema commutatum). Each comes with a small card with information about the plant and how to care for it. She'd decided to hand out the little plants because so many associate Botanicals & Beyond with teas and tea based products and forget that the shoppe offers so much more.

In addition to the starter plants Travis has sample sizes of plant based products including Aloe vera lotion, Aloe vera gel, and plant based soaps with wonderful scents like evening primrose, apricot, and blood orange). There are teas to sample and some of those tea based products such as black tea cardamom biscuits and little oolong tea cakes. Lastly, there are three soups using products offered by Botanicals & Beyond, ancho chile powder for example. For Travis personally, there's a stomach calming tea and ginger snaps to help with the morning sickness that crops up at any hour it wants.

For career information Travis has done up several pamphlets ranging from herbology, marketing, accounting and finance, small business ownership, and even product development. Not surprisingly, the samples have been far more popular than the pamphlets but she's had a good number of students with questions and who have shown interest in at least one aspect of her business.

The MacFusty's booth has had a large number of students stopping by. Some of them, especially the younger ones who most likely aren't thinking of life after Hogwarts, have come by for the free pet name tags and collars, and to ask questions about their respective pets' health. A few have adopted one of the kittens Indigo and Coco brought though a couple so far preferred one of the toads. There is an adoption fee on the kittens but it's reasonable and for those interested in one of the kittens MacFusty's will put the cat on hold until the girl or boy is able to pay the fee or get parental consent, or both. There is also a display of dogs of all ages and sizes available for adoption and photos of other cats, both kittens and adults, looking for homes.

Of those interested in becoming veterinary healers or finding out what's involved in owning and running a pet shoppe, Indi has fielded some excellent questions and would be surprised if Coco hasn't had some good ones as well.

With the 2018 Career Day coming to a close soon, Indi wonders if any of the remaining kittens will be adopted or asked to be put on a hold. It would be great if all of them found their humans today but if not, perhaps they will at the adoption event Coco and Christopher Chant are helping Indi put together.

Stepping a few booths down to steal a biscuit from one of the platters Travis has set out, Indi rapidly returns to the MacFusty's booth to answer the questions of a newly arrived student.

Photo Surprise
Author: Carys
Date:   02-07-18 18:38

Carys had brought a bin of disposable cameras with her as giveaways. The gesture brought back memories from when Carys had been a student at Hogwarts, and her mother had been the one promoting the family business at Career Day. How strange it was to be walking in her mother's shoes! Stranger still, this time next year, Tristan would be at Hogwarts. Where had the time gone?

Tristan was at home today with his dad and Meg. Carys wondered what house he would land in. Would it be Gryffindor like everybody else in the family? Would Tristan and Tyler end up roommates or wind up separated? What about the girl Cecilia, Tristan's first girlfriend? Carys felt a bit impatient to find out, but she, like everybody else, would have to wait until the first of September for the answers.

Etheleen Crunk from Shutterbuttons was at the table next to Carys'. When there was a break in students visiting both tables, Carys walked the few steps that separated them and looked over the items on display while making small talk with Etheleen. Etheleen was a little bit older than Carys, maybe in her early thirties. She had strawberry blonde hair and freckles. One of the items at her table was a photo album showing some of her work.

Carys thumbed through the photos. Some were portrait sittings like Carys herself specialized in, but others were candid shots. Carys did a double take at one of the photos, which showed Etheleen standing on the trail at Whiteless Pike with none other than Decimus Clarke.

"Oh, he's handsome, isn't he?" Etheleen exclaimed, her cheeks turning a bit rosy at the declaration.

Carys was speechless, and it didn't matter, because Etheleen went on, "That was our third date. He's such an adventurer, Dec is."

"He's your boyfriend, then?" Carys finally managed. She thumbed through the rest of the album, finding more pictures of Etheleen with Decimus, or some of just Decimus by himself.

"Yes. It's all rather new, but we seem very compatible. I think he could be––" and she hushed her voice and said, "the one."

Carys shut the album and debated if she should ask Etheleen if she knew the truth about her boyfriend. The internal debate was cut short when a group of students arrived to talk to Etheleen. Carys wandered back to her table and found herself distracted for the rest of the afternoon.

Dewhursts en masse
Author: Bronwyn Dewhurst
Date:   02-08-18 18:01

Wotan handed out his very last model kit. It seemed that he had brought just enough with him to Career Day. As in past visits to Hogwarts, he'd had a lot of excellent conversations with students seriously interested in architecture. He'd also enjoyed talking with the kids who wanted a kit but didn't necessarily want to become architects one day. Wotan always had a good time at Career Day.

A few tables down, Bronwyn slowly started taking down her display. The end of Career Day was near, and most of her own giveaways were gone. She'd brought an assortment of promotional items for the Wizarding Wireless Network, and she'd also raffled off a few items signed by famous musicians or bands.

There'd been a bit of a snag in the parchmentwork for the adoption of their future daughter, but Bronwyn and Toby weren't discouraged. It just meant that it would take a bit longer before they brought her home. Bronwyn's parents were excited about meeting the young lady, because she would become their first grandchild.

In the meantime, Bronwyn had conducted quite a bit of shopping. She and Toby had converted the guest room in the duplex into a child's bedroom. There was new furniture, bed coverings, toys, clothes, and so much more. There was also more to buy. Toby had let Bronwyn go a bit crazy with the shopping, but he'd also convinced her to wait to do the rest. There was no doubt that the adoption would go through. He just didn't think they needed to get everything right away.

Bronwyn's uncle Will was also at Career Day, but he was also starting to pack up his table. Will Dewhurst had brought samples of Ministry pamphlets, including historical documents and some of the more sillier publications. While he knew his table was one of the least interesting at Hogwarts, Will nevertheless saw a bit of traffic because of the ink pads and stamps he was giving away. They looked like printing press typesets and were mostly letters, but there were some image blocks as well.

Kate wasn't at Hogwarts for Career Day, but her boyfriend Mark was there representing the Department of Magical Transportation's Floo Network Office. Will was glad the two had gotten back together. Mark seemed to have matured tremendously during his time apart from Kate, and he also appeared to be doing well for himself these days.

Will did get to talk to Tessa a bit, who had come by the Great Hall with her best friend Blakeney. Tessa had gone around to all the booths with the hopes of narrowing down what she might like to do someday, though she still had plenty of time to figure things out. She and Blakeney collected a lot of swag. There wasn't an awkward run-in with Chip, either. All in all, not a bad day.

Lastly, Siegfried packed up the last of his things. His presentation at Career Day had been on behalf of Quidditch Illustrated, where Siegfried worked as both a writer and photographer. He had talked up how great his job was to anyone who would listen. Not only did Siegfried get to watch a ton of Quidditch matches, he got to travel the world doing so. Not a bad gig!
