(Robert) Secret Investigation
Author: Isolde
Date:   12-22-14 12:32

Robert worked as a diplomat at the Ministry of Magic and spent a great deal of his time conducting negotiations with representatives from other Ministries of Magic. Normally he had no trouble using carefully thought out phrases to convince other countries to work with the British government. Even unscripted, Robert knew just what to say and how to say it, and he almost never failed at smoothing over relations with other government officials.

His current task was not an easy one, however, for it involved a very delicate situation––one he could not share with his wife, even though it involved her to some degree. Ever since the story broke about Azaelia's father Constantine being involved in the dealings of illegal substances, a Ministry of Magic task force primarily involving law enforcement but also a few others, such as individuals from the Department of International Magical Cooperation, had been investigating Mr. Bramble.

It was not so much a matter of what he was doing abroad, though the Chilean government was certainly interested. It was more what Constantine Bramble may have been doing prior to leaving the country all those years ago. If it could be proven that he'd had illegal dealings in Britain, then there could be cause to have him extradited and imprisoned in Azkaban. As it was, the Chilean government was already looking to have him deported. Unfortunately, Mr. Bramble had flown the coop.

The desire to capture and imprison Constantine Bramble had been heightened in recent months, due to the recent popularity of the drug industry. Although his market seemed to be on another continent far, far away, it stood to reason that with his ties to the UK, Azaelia's father might have buyers there too. The Ministry of Magic was bound and determined to cut off all suppliers without delay.

An interdepartmental memo dashed into the office and came in for a landing on his desk. Robert unfolded it and learned his presence was requested at a meeting. He dropped everything and made his way to the conference room, which was mostly empty.

"Hello, Robert," greeted one of his coworkers, already in the room with parchment out and a quill in his hand. "Did you have a nice weekend?"

Robert slid into the chair opposite his older colleague and shook his head. After years away from the sport, he had joined an amateur football league. He played for the Craster Rovers, a team in the North Northumberland League. Unfortunately, the Craster Rovers were a crap team. In Saturday's match against Berwick Town, Craster hadn't gotten a single goal. Berwick, meanwhile, had scored eleven times.

The only game the Craster Rovers had won since August was the very first match against Acklington Athletic. Acklington wasn't having a very good season either.

Robert's colleague started to ask what had happened, but then the conference room suddenly filled. Every seat was taken with members of the task force investigating Constantine Bramble. The lead on the case set down a very full folder of documentation and then looked out at all the faces turned in his direction.

"We have all the evidence we need to bring Bramble in."

Preston
Author: Cate
Date:   12-22-14 14:18

Preston had followed Cate to the hospital wing without her knowing and had waited outside for her to come out. It was time for her daily calming potion prescribed to her by her new psychologist. It had been a couple weeks since her public confrontation with Amanda and then Elliot and her stay at St. Mungo's. It had been determined that Cate was unstable with PTSD after the ordeal of her best friend's death. It was also found that she had bi-polar disorder and was on an aforementioned calming potion and some other meds to help her.

When Cate walked out of the hospital wing she almost ran into a pacing Preston.

"Oh!" She said as she stopped short.

"Hi." He said offering her a smile.

"Hi." She said quietly.

"How are you?" Preston asked as he rested an arm on her arm.

"I'm okay." She said a little unsure of how much he knew but pretty sure that he knew everything that has happened. It was pretty well known that Cate had spent several days under observation at St. Mungo's after her altercation with Amanda and Elliot. "I've been better and I've been worse." She said truthfully.

Preston nodded his head. He missed her and was still in love with her but he wasn't sure that things could or would ever be like they were before Jordana's death.

"Well I just wanted to check on you and see how you were doing." He said looking at his watch. "It was time for class and he needed to get going." He smiled at her and leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. "I hope that we can talk again soon."

"I'd like that." She said with a small smile and both headed off to their class.

Chance checked with the secretary and then she showed her back to where Bronwyn was broadcasting her morning show and Chance bounced on the balls of her feel eager to talk to her friend. When she heard Bron go to commercial she knocked on the door and walked in.

Bronwyn looked up shocked to see Chance but happy at the same time. "What brings you by?" Bron asked.

Chance smiled brightly and said, "I have news and I wanted you to be one of the first I tell."

"What?" She asked eagerly.

"I'm pregnant again."

"Oh, Chance that is wonderful news!" Bron got up and hugged her friend before quickly returning to her seat to do her next segment. Chance sat quietly while Bron did her segment and the girls chattered like chipmunks during the commercials.

"I am so happy for you and Jonathan."

"Thank you. You're probably my best friend, Bron and I wanted to you know first."

"Not before Jonathan right?"

"No, I told him this morning when I took the test. Then I went right over to St. Mungo's and had a pregnancy test done and talked to my healers. They are going to keep a very close eye on me this time."

"Good." Bron smiled. "Oh, I am so happy for you."

Back at work Chance could hardly contain her excitement and when her boss came in and asked her why she was so bubbly today she had to tell him. He smiled happily and hugged Chance congratulating her. She was so excited she could hardly work on her newest article about Temptation and how it was killing innocent people, including children who were getting a hold of the drug via their parents or just out right unknowingly buying it themselves. The death toll was climbing to a total of 15 deaths now. Chance hated seeing this going on but she didn't know how to stop it.

She fumbled with her camera and developed the film in the magical camera and got the pictures ready to be posted with her story.

Jonathan walked in looking a bit haggard from a morning of research. "Hey, Baby."

"Hi." She gushed. "And leaned up to kiss him when he walked over. "How did it go telling Chance?"

"Good she is happy."

Their boss poked his head in the office and tossed a cigar at Jonathan, "congratulations."

Jonathan looked at the cigar and smiled at his boss. "I see Chance has told you the good news?"

"Yes." He said with another smile and then ducked out and headed back to his own office.

Jonathan sat down at his desk and watched Chance for a while before she looked up smiling brightly to herself. She was truly happy and nothing was going to take that happiness away from her.

(Adriana) The Witch is Back
Author: Bill Weasley

Adriana swept from her quarters and marched into the common area of the abbey, where many of her followers were congregated. It had been a long time since they had seen her with any sort of regularity and felt like ages since she had given them directives or led them on excursions. That was all about the change.

Her sharp gaze landed on Nero. "Was it your idea to abduct Somerset?"

Nero spluttered and got to his feet. "No, it was––" His eyes darted wildly around the room and found Meadow, but before he could raise his finger to point her out, Adriana had it in her grasp and jerked it at an unnatural angle. The crack as she broke his finger was audible to anyone directly nearby. Nero howled and drew back his hand, clutching on to his injured hand as if it would help soothe his pain.

Meadow didn't say a word, but Hattie, who was unfortunately experiencing a bad case of acne, looked up with a challenging expression and said, "It was the three of us: Nero, Meadow, and me."

Adriana smiled beatifically at Hattie and said, "How nice that you three worked together to put a means to an end. It's nice to see that my most loyal subjects know the meaning of teamwork."

Her smile quickly vanished and a stern expression appeared on her face. "Did I give permission for this little project you FAILED to fulfill?"

Hattie shrugged. Nero whimpered. Meadow shook her head slowly.

"No," Adriana said aloud. "I did not." She looked at Nero, who was still clutching onto his broken finger. "If I wanted Ethan Somerset dead, then I would see it done. It is not for YOU to decide whether he lives or dies. You of all people know how useful he could be."

Hattie laughed aloud, causing Adriana to whirl around with her wand in hand.

"I have it on good authority that my dear nephew is a project gone very wrong. You would be a fool to think he is worth pursuing."

"Don't touch him again unless I expressly instruct you to," Adriana stated. "Do you understand me?"

Hattie stared boldly back at Adriana.

"I have a little assignment for you, Hattie," Adriana said. "If you don't carry out my demands to the letter, then I will have you executed." She scanned the room and settled her gaze on Dorian Somerset.

He was watching the exchange very closely. Ever since his wife's death, he wanted the heads of Nero, Meadow, and Hattie on pikes posted outside the entrance of the abbey. The only reason he hadn't killed them was because he didn't want to anger Adriana. He didn't have anything to lose, but he also recognized that Adriana was all he had now.

"Fail me, Hattie, and I will give Dorian the great pleasure of ending your life."

Hattie started to look less sure of herself. "What would you have me do?" she asked.

Adriana turned and started to pace the room. "I think it's high-time we find a base of operations in the heart of the British wizarding community. Knockturn Alley is an obvious choice, if only because few tread that way and those who do tend to share our ideals. Find a storefront we can utilize to our advantage––not Borgin & Burkes. That's too obvious. If the owner is more like us, then it should be easy to persuade him to lend his building to the cause. If he's not, then Imperius him or whatever it is you need to do to stay alive. Are we clear?"

Hattie got up from her chair and glanced over her shoulder at the back wall, where Dorian sat. She turned her gaze back to Adriana and replied, "Crystal."

(Knockturn Alley) Quiet in the Shoppe
Author: Aris Sisco
Date:   12-22-14 16:02

Aris sat behind his desk in his usual place filling out paperwork and going over things while his other employees either worked in the back of the shoppe or out front on the floor.

The bell above the door jangled and Aris looked up from his papers and smiled at the cloaked boy who walked in. Aris could tell he was young and wondered why he was in a shoppe like his but the thought was only fleeting because if he bought something that was good for him; it really wasn't his concern what he did with said item.

The boy looked around and Aris went back to his paperwork and did not think anything else of what was happening in the store.

"Excuse me." Hattie said to one of the shoppe employees.

"Yes."

"Do you have a loo?"

"Yes." And the employee pointed the way towards the loo.

Hattie moved away and headed towards the loo. The corridor was long and dark into the back where the bathroom was. He passed the door and headed to the backroom.

It was quiet in the shoppe today but a few people milled around here and there coming and going as the day went on.

After a while Aris headed to the back room to look at the new stock that had come in. He cocked his head to the side as he walked in seeing someone in a cloak, hood pulled up over their head, looking at a box. "Can I help you?" Aris finally asked as he cleared his throat.

"Oh!" A startled Hattie said, "I was looking for the loo."

"The bathroom is down the hall and to your right."

"Right, thanks." He said and headed off from where he was standing looking at a box.

Aris made his way over to the box and looked at it, it was nothing special just a box of new items for the shoppe. A minute passed and Aris walked back into the main part of the shoppe and found the young man slipping out the door.

Sighing Aris slipped back into the backroom and began going through the boxes.

Trouble
Author: Capri Brycin
Date:   12-22-14 17:22

Capri was coming back from getting coffee when she found her boss Kyle Chaddock in her office. He paced up and down her office and when she walked in he quickly moved towards the door and shut it and locking it.

He mouth dropped open slightly and she set her coffee down on her desk. "How are you my Dear?" He leered.

Capri closed her eyes and made a face at his words. "I'm fine."

"You know I don't like that boyfriend of yours."

"Okay." Capri said feeling annoyed at his comment. He had no right to judge Mark he didn't even know him.

"But on the other hand I am envious of him because he gets to be with you."

She groaned inwardly and took a step back when he stepped towards her. He stepped towards her again and she stepped back running into her desk. "Look I don't want any trouble," she said as she felt his hands come to her face and cup it. "Please stop." She pleaded as he pressed his body to hers and she could feel just how much he liked her.

Kyle leaned in kissing her, "no." she pleaded again. "I don't want this. I am with someone else."

"I know and I bet he can't take care of you like I can." She whimpered and squirmed trying to get away from him but he had her pinned to her desk. He bit her neck and with a swift motion he spun her around so that she was facing her desk and his hands moved across her smooth legs and under her skirt. "Please stop..." she cried.

She could feel how excited he was and feel his hands moving over her body pushing at her clothes until he removed them and then he took what he wanted from her. Capri cried.

When he had finished taking what he wanted he moved away and looked at her, laughed and then walked out of her office.

Capri collapsed onto the floor in a heap and began sobbing. She was shaking uncontrollably and she wasn't sure what she should do. She knew she had to go home. She gathered herself together as much as possible and disapperated with a pop from her office.

She knew it was going to be several hours before Mark would be home and all she wanted was to curl up in his arms and die. She was humiliated and ashamed about what had happened even though deep down she knew it wasn't her fault.

When she got home she dropped to the floor and began crying again and laid there for a long time before she finally managed to get up and get into the shower to try and scrub away the feeling of Kyle Chaddock's hands all over her body.

Shopping in Muggle London
Author: Alaia Rothstein
Date:   12-22-14 18:26

Today was a quiet day at the shoppe and Alaia and Divina decided to take the day off, letting the other trusted employees of the shoppe handle things in their absence. It was a cool crisp day with some intermittent snow flurries. Alaia and Divina bundled up and headed for Muggle London to do some early Christmas shopping.

"I need to get something for Lee and I have no idea what to get him." She said to her best friend.

"He is kind of a mysterious guy." Divina said with a smile.

"Yeah when I asked him what he wanted for Christmas he said me."

"I know," Divina laughed. "We will buy you some new lingerie and then put a big red bow around your neck and put you in bed to wait for him."

Alaia giggled, "oh, he would like that. You know you could leave roses around all over and rose petals all over."

"Yes! Now you are getting into the spirit." Divina laughed. "So you want to?"

"You have a devilish look on your face Divina." Alaia laughed. "Yeah, that can at least be part of his present." She said and the two women set off for the Muggle store lingerie stores.

"Welcome" Said a sweet young woman's voice as they entered the shoppe. It was a small boutique type shoppe and Alaia had come here a few times to pick out new lingerie and everything she had picked out Lee had really loved.

"Thank you." Both Alaia and Divina said as they walked in.

"How can I help you?"

Alaia smiled, "I have been in before and I've loved everything that I have bought here and so has my boyfriend and I wanted to get something for him for Christmas."

"Very nice." The young woman said. "Do you have anything in mind?"

"I would like to get a corset and garter set."

"Nice." Divina smiled and they followed the woman as she led the way to where the corset garter sets were located.

The woman asked Alaia's sizes and then she began handing things to her in all colors and styles and Alaia went and began trying things on with the help of the young woman to cinch her into each of the corsets that she tried on.

In the end Alaia purchased some new bras and panties as well as a red corset and garter set with matching stalkings.

"Thank you for coming in." The young woman smiled at them as they were leaving.

"Now you need some new heels to go along with that corset and garter set." Divina gushed and the two headed off to go shopping for shoes.
